Yesterday we were woken up by the Nature Reserve Range which asked us to leave our camp and say goodbye to our sauna. In two hours we sorted all our things into buses and cleaned all around the reserve. We collected around 3 or more of garbage bags that was lying in the bamboo and on the beach (WE were driving our garbage regulary to the city!, but the french people seem to like washing their hair wih shampoo on the beach and never heard about taking home their beer bottles) and wrote a nice goodbye letter to ranger sticked to our flyer. After suffering the whole previous day, scrubing eachother under small cover because it was raining all the time and the smoke of the fire was most of the day in our lungs we were sad to leave on a sunny day with a potential night sauna time.
As always, we had a technical starting problem, this time with the white bus which ran out of battery power. Problem was fixed in a matter of minutes and we were on the road to the south. Along the coast we passed through the Preneyes and ways into the land to a small city Banyoles. Nothing special really except that we ended up in the middle of industrial zone after relaxing on the beach for a week.
Ringing on the bell, noone answered. I wasn’t sure really if the couch surfing guy was living there, everything was dark and quietly lonely.
Busses were taking parking spots when the boy passed us. Squating the flat was done within one hour and we were finnaly in a warm place, with shower and most important - the internet. Fourteen people imediatly took over five rooms and big kitchen in which Paz from the hippie bus “Yellow Submarine”, that joined two days ago was making dinner since he was the only one not addicted to internet. After talking with the couchsurfing guy we discovered he had hosted a mutual friend in the past. The rest of us were fighting for the line and the one without satisfying argument of needing the net ended up having a workshop making jewelry from organic roaps in one of the rooms.
Peace sat down, in our rows, we went to sleep tired and empty minded.
This morning I was the first one to wake up since I promised to Johannes (from the hippie bus) to escort him to a hitch hiking spot at the end of the city because he was on the way to his boat that is waiting for it’s captain on south of Spain. Future plans are to go with the boat to South America and do networking as same a SKill Surfers and more.
When I came back two hours later everyone was still sleeping. I remembered that I forgot the coffee - the priority, and went back to the ‘civilized world’ ,that means outside to the supermarket and get it. Henry came with me, annoyed of four walls and bad air. His bike needed some accesories that we bought on the way.
Back to the casa, three of us were sitting outside, next to sewer canal, facing front door with an ironical exspresion on their face. 10 people was still sleeping and noone to open the door. 15 minutes of smelling industrial chemicals and we were again ONLINE.
I for example am still online and noone will remove me because I havn’t had conntact with the outside world for more than a week and I had to check what is happening in another reality (online). It’s so much to look for, to write to, find, read about…
You can imagine why we are so slow online and you have to check couple of times before you see the updates - father, friends, people outside supporting us.
Annyone interested, we would most appriciate a contract for mobile telephone internet for Spain otherwise too many things will stay in our heads and around us and you, people online will never found out what were our perspectives, knowledge and ideas while CHANGING THE WORLD.
