We woke up in the sunshine, it was very morning, the sun was rising over the wide landscape
after a breakfast and some yoga, we started our bus to search for the place puente del arcoiris, (eglish: rainbow-bridge)
we got this contact via internet-recherche and one guy from la torre was there years befor at a workshop, how to build staw-ball-houses.

we were closer at the place as we thought befor
the next cross street of the small street through the countryside leaded up a small hill,
beside us were small manderin-plantages and wild herb-meadows, some trees, and single houses spread in the countryside of the beautiful hill.
some signs with the name of the project leaded us through the muddy roads to a wooden-build house.
there we asked a woman who lived there for the guy we had emailcontact before.
she send us to another house near buy,
it was a beautiful building coloured with natural colours outside,
on the fist few we saw it was house build of totally ecological materials,
it has a wooden veranda where you can see down on a wide and beautiful valley.. a flat land surrounded from round and green hills, it looked like on a southern island anywhere in the pacific.
the guy left us there waiting cause he had sth to do, so we had our own look in the gardens arround,
in front of the house was a huge solar-cooker with a big pot in the middle, already boiling food,
i never saw such a construction “in action”.

in the gardens arround were different very amazing construction with ecological materials,
one of the most beautiful and impressing compost-toilette i ever saw, like a house of a snail or shell, with an spiral-entrance in the inside.. and big glasen bottles as windows,
on other construction was made of canja, a kind of bamboo growing mostly in southamerica, but the spainish emperors brought it to spain after they conquered southamerika.
it was made by an workshop of a experimental canya project we also already contacted to visit.

we had a long discussion and presentation about our project and “their” project.
they are about 15 people living in 8 houses on the hill.
this group counts themself sth like a community,
but there are much more people and neighbours in the surrounding which exchange and help each other, but dont count them self in the community,
they see their project like an experimental school, a space where people can experiment with ecological buildings and constructions,
its a space for workshops, seminars and meetings.
the most of the houses are private, and they have one communityhouse where they cook together and meet.
the house is build of clay and stawballs, with a nice wooden roof.
in there are a kitchen and a huge room which is mostly used for yoga and meditations aswell as meetings and discussions.

their plans are to buy a big peace of land (min. 150 ha) and build an ecovillage,
the ecovillage will have 3 big maintopics,

fist ecological construction-building,
free and selforganized education
and organic agriculture and permaculture

they have strong groupprocesses at the moment to find a stable group to start this project,
they dont want to stay at this valley where they life,
its hard to find bigger peaces of land, and its very expensive,
the houses of the community are very spread between much other houses
they are still seaching for land.

an other idea is to build together with an old spanish guy who studied and trained “non violent communication” for long time, an “non violent communication university” combined with this ecovillages.

after a wonderful sun-cooked meal
we had a walk around the gardens and the surrounding of the hills,
he showed us the gardens of the neighbours which are very fit in permaculture and have amazing gardens.

they also were very interested in our projects and ideas and said that it will fit together very good,
but they will build a school where you can learn all this things, at this one place, but be very interested to stay in contact, and invited us to come when they found a land to build up a nice village, help them and spread the information around.

so we left the place with a very good feeling,
it was now afternoon, the sun was still shining but very close to the ground and near sunset,
we drove further in the direction of alcoy, where we had inviation to a nice project in the mountains.
again we started our drive in the coming sunset and a next beautiful night.
