the white bus is planning to leave tomorrow to a rainbow rawfood gathering near nerja!
The black busses destiny is quite unclear, but the next step will be malaga, casa invisibile, where we will hopefully meet carlos, a programmer interested in tsolife.

our group has changed a lot in this 5 (!!!) weeks that we spent here
at the moment there are still a lot of us, I cant even tell the number of people
now there is Sam (D), Anna (D), Peter (USA), me (D), Coco (FR), Laura (D/Sweden), Zsolt (HU), Bari (Ireland/Sweden), Kaisa (Sweden), Henrik (Sweden), Kathy (UK), Kitty (UK), Paz (UK), Mandus (D) and Jaqueline (D))
the brueckenschlaeger-team from Berlin (Andi, Chris, Mia) just left back to Alemania.
Thanks again guys for having been here, it was a motivation kick and I am now really looking forward to come back to Berlin and work with you again!!!
——
Bruce (who is an Australian guy always full of Energy) just wondered what we’ve actually been doing
well, hard to tell
we spend lots of time just sitting, talking, cooking, recycling stuff…
and not really doing anything that would be normally considered as education or productive networking
–
still I think we did some productive networking in the way of giving some inpiration to the people
and I started to redefine my concept of education and learning in this trip, seriously and radically!
Before this my idea of learning in theory was something different than in normal schools, but now I really feel what it means:
One good example from quite a while ago, but the best picture that comes to my mind:
I was sitting in the Big Lodge (the community tipi) one time, all these hippies there just plying music, ommmming and so on, unproductive lazyness and some bored atmosphere in the air:
on my right i hear peter talking about flewts (knowing that he is giving flewt making workshops all the time) and on my left Darta and Coco studying French vocabulary… I just thought : What a fuckin amazing school we are!!!!!
often learning just … happens! just integrated into daily life… that all goes quite well with the sudbury school /democratic school concept and with Ivan Illichs “deschooling society” (thanks bine for the tips!)
or in the words of permaculture (one theory / life philosophy that i was keeping myself busy with a lot in the last weeks): “the problem is the solution!” you just cannot force anything, it has to develop freely!
What also impressed me a lot was the realisation that 5 year old kids actually can teach me a lot and sometimes more than adults!!!
Not that this would be really new to me, in theory, but I never felt it that strong
but since playing with that kid who is speaking 3 languages fluently and in general an amazing character I feel it so strong: we are all eual and all have to see each other as teachers and students in the same time!
It is about exchange, about communication.
Learning=Teaching!!!!

so well, enouph philosophy: some concrete things we did:
*some people built a solar stove, that doesnt work yet but we’re gonna do it
it was actually for dragon but in our dynamical organisation we fucked up to really sell stuff there so we now just have it as a learning by doing project
we were in dragon and it was a really nice festival, but well our stand didnt work so well
we”ll have to find another money sources!
*we are doing a lot of makrame workshops (bracelets), dreamcatchers and that kind of stuff
*our girls were arrested by the police in a woman rights demonstaration (bodypainted and topless on a catholic fiesta!
) and brought back to Beneficio
* we are into rawfood now because of cooking lazyness
* we had a deep exchange about the destiny of migrobirdo, as Mandus wants to write a book about his good friend Johannes, R.I.P.
and stopped his university to travel after him
so the migrobirdo connection is getting even deeper after that accident, our dreams will live on!!!
* we exchanged ideas with Jaqueline who wants to organise a children friendly festival with skillsharing area and workshops in northern spain and also plans to make a bike tour together with Laura whom she met here with us, to carry on the idea of tsolife/skillsurfers/migrobirdo
we also created an exchange about fundraising possibilities for this tour and festival
and as the genetik mistake, this psychadelic rock band from israel that we met in barcelona first, showed up here we are hoping to bring them to thi festival
* I made a skillsharing book, really nice one, out of reycling paper and hope to find a good place for it in beneficio
i was wondering if we were indirectly inspiring people to put all these skillsharing papers on the beneficio infoboard which are there since a while (e.g. what to use clay for, camping tips, etc)
wanna find a peace of wood to make a skillsharing wall for those kind of things!
* we dumpstered lots of nice food at mercagranada
* Bari, Kaisa and Sam have a lot of photography skill exchange
* I studied poststructuralist philosophy (Deleuze) with Mandus, an interesting chapter about the difference in between nomadic science and “king science”
* I guess we inspired some people to see how it can be to really organise in a group/collective… whereas all these people here are talking so much about community but starting (in my perception) on a far to large scale of thinking than just to start organising together with a smaller group of people
* I think we do a quite efficient study about alternative ways of living relationships (/open relationships) and how to get your needs and feelings more clear (even though this sounds much easier now than it actually is)
* probably many more things, like all these small moments, when for example somebody tells about the history of his/her country like Bari did today (Irish history, IRA, etc)
or about a book (s)he is just reading (like Peter who is always telling interesting stories about the books he is reading about tribes in ther jungles and deserts of this planet and their culture and organisation)
all this is skillsharing and all this is integrated so well into this unnormal ecological life in nature that you dont even recognize how crazyly productive your learning is in the end while just sitting around and having the feeling of doing nothin
no more workshops, no more structure
but still it is happening

and I am dreaming about my own free school that i wanna have one day
with a much better infrastructure than this rolling one we have right now!!! ![]()
