We are waiting for answers of some very interesting projects that we contacted… but they all dont answer… we were invited by a couchsurfer in Sevilla who is very active in the couchsurfing fundraising team though…
This is where we will leave to now and then make our way to Portugal… Time is running and I want to be back in Germany in a month!
Since we came back from Marocco I couldn’t find any good opportunity to upload photos…
Got some really nice ones, hope I will get a chance soon.
After leaving “projectoffroad” (because of money reasons mainly - a couchsurfer who decided he cannot take people for free any more but charges 5 euros a day now) we are staying near Tarifa now, on a free wagon place just at the beach.
This article might be a little bit less impressive than I’d wish it to be… as I write it thinking back to Marokko and not just in the time and place - being there, feeling and smelling this crazy different world around me…
There is thousand stories to tell about (our) life there, even though we only spent 5 days in this country and only saw 2 towns and some nature in between those towns, which are Tanger and Chechaouen…
The pictures (that I will hopefully be able to put online soon) might say a lot more than words anyhow
We (Sam, Barry and me) travelled 100 years -and 2 hours - back in time, crossing the ocean in only 35 minutes by ship. And we arrived in a world that smells different, tastes different and feels different - even the sun is much brighter than here (we could immidiately recodnize this even though it was a quite cloudy, rainy day…)
and sometimes it surprises you so much that it makes you fall out of all clouds.
GOODBYE BIG GROUP
All over the last months I so strongly wanted this tour to be something particular, my mind and my heart were so full of ideas I felt hindered to realize because of several circumstances such as our big chaotic group.
I was occupying myself a lot with defining-questions and theories about group processes; it was such a great experience to live and travel with this big group - with all these amazing individuals with their wonderful ideas and visions, to manage a variety of problems or difficult sittuations and see how in the end anything would work out after worrying a lot, to share responsibility as well as every-day life, to enjoy life together.
Sam, Berry and me are in Malaga now with the black bus
and staying in a nice okupa with about 12 people, lots of free space and a future permaculture huerto (vegetable garden).
We already spent our second night INDOORS, which we are really not used to anymore after 6 (!) weeks of Beneficio valley nature experience (and 3 weeks Los Molinos de Aguas before!).
Everything suddenly went very quick:
I was still sitting in the Beneficio time bubble, watching the sun jump up and down and spending lots of time wondering what happened with that other day that had just started and was already over again,
I was sitting there wondering how everything should go on with our project and if I ever wanted to leave Beneficio again – with a broken computer, a halfway broken bus and kind of destroyed group dynamics -
when Anna’s decision to leave the white bus in Malaga for a while and join the “revive migrobirdo” - Marokko-travelling-team for some weeks hit me as an inspiring shock, freeing my mind and pumping me up with amazingly big joy and motivation, I was overwhelmed by a new imagination of how we could go on and a new spirit.
